Teacher Sorted terms of service

The practical agreement that applies when you create an account or subscribe to Teacher Sorted.

The service

Teacher Sorted is personal workload and time-management software for teachers. It supports your decisions about work and available time; it is not a school record system, lesson-delivery timetable, safeguarding system or substitute for professional judgement.

Your account

You must provide accurate account information, keep your login secure and be at least 18 years old. Your account is for your own use and must not be shared. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

For a standard card-backed trial, Teacher Sorted asks you to enter your email address twice at signup so typing mistakes can be caught before the account and payment setup are created. After the Stripe step, Teacher Sorted also asks you to verify that you control that address. Email verification is strongly encouraged but is not required to use the trial and does not change the trial or billing schedule.

Appropriate use

Do not enter learner-identifiable or sensitive personal information. Do not attempt to access another person’s workspace, interfere with the service, use it unlawfully or upload content you do not have the right to use.

Free trial

New standard Teacher Sorted accounts receive seven days of access to the full product. Eligible teachers joining through an approved Creator Partner referral receive 14 days instead. The applicable trial length is shown before you start.

A payment card is required to start a standard or Creator Partner referral trial. Stripe securely stores the payment method; Teacher Sorted does not store your full card details. The amount due when the trial starts is £0 for GBP checkout or A$0 for Australian checkout.

Your trial starts only after payment-method setup succeeds and Teacher Sorted creates the corresponding Stripe trial subscription. The selected recurring price, billing interval and trial end are shown during the journey and in Billing after the trial starts.

Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the selected subscription takes its first payment at the trial boundary and then continues on its stated billing interval. This conversion does not depend on whether you have completed the separate email-verification check.

Subscriptions and renewal

Teacher Sorted is available on monthly and annual recurring subscriptions. The price, billing interval and any introductory or founding price are shown before payment-method setup. If the trial is not cancelled, the selected subscription takes its first payment when the trial ends and then renews automatically using the payment method held by Stripe.

The Founding Teacher subscription renews annually at the same founding annual price for as long as that subscription remains continuously active. The offer is available only during the stated offer period and cannot be reclaimed after cancellation.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a trial from Billing at any time before its first charge. Trial access continues until the trial boundary and no first subscription payment is taken. Email verification does not undo or reverse a cancellation you have made.

After a paid period begins, you can cancel through Billing. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access continues until then.

New paid subscriptions also include a 14-day money-back promise. If Teacher Sorted is not right for you, contact support@teachersorted.com within 14 days of your first subscription payment and we will refund that initial payment. The promise applies to the first payment on a new paid subscription, not later renewals. A refund under this promise ends the subscription and paid access.

This money-back promise is in addition to any statutory rights you may have. If you believe a payment was taken incorrectly, contact support@teachersorted.com promptly.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Teacher Sorted available and reliable, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Features may be improved or changed. Keep any records your school or employer requires in its approved systems.

Your data

Your workload remains your private workspace. The Privacy notice explains how data is stored and processed. You can export your workload and delete your account from Settings.

Liability

Teacher Sorted helps organise work but does not guarantee that tasks, deadlines or obligations will be completed. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, Teacher Sorted is not responsible for indirect losses or decisions made using the service.
